Rajouri : The District Level Task Force Committee on Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) today approved 57 Self- employment cases here at its meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.
Officers present in the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; LDM, Sanjeev Bhasin; PO DUDA, Kavita and other concerned officers.The DAY-NULM scheme of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs aims at leading the poor to market-based employment and helping them to set up self-employment ventures by ensuring easy access to credit.
The meeting after a threadbare discussion and scrutiny of all the cases put up in the meeting approved 57 cases.The DC asked the concerned officer to educate the public about the benefits of the scheme and ensure that maximum beneficiaries are covered under the scheme.
The DC also asked the concerned officer to pay regular visits of the enterprise and help them during the establishment of the enterprise.
