Good Governance Week : ADDC chairs Public Outreach programme at Gagren, Shopian

Shopian : The District Administration Shopian today organised Block Diwas at Gagren Shopian which was presided by Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian (ADDC), Manzoor Hussain.

During the weekly Public Outreach cum Grievance Redressal Camp, the PRIs and other people projected the issues of public importance and sought immediate redressal of the same.

The PRIs and public delegations demanded passenger shed, Public Park and playground at Padapawan, providing of portable drinking water facility for Tengwani and Kegam, installation of electric poles, protection walls on the surrounding nallahs, meeting shortage of doctors in PHC, Tukroo, availability of an Ambulance and various other issues raised on the occasion.

Responding to the demands, the ADDC assured quality disposal of the issues requiring intervention of District Administration and projection of issues involving policy matters at appropriate levels.

The District Officers, Block Development Officer, Shopian and other concerned panches, sarpanches and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
