Execution of Mining lease, issuance of Fresh NOCs discussed at MDLTF meeting

Samba : District level Single window clearance system and Multidepartmental District Level Task force (MDLTF) meeting was held today under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta here at DC Office to discuss execution of Mining lease and issuance of Fresh NOCs.

The meeting was attending by SSP Samba, Abhishak Mahajan; ACR Samba, Manu Hansa; DMO Samba, M Sayeed; XEN flood control, XEN PHE Samba, XEN PDD, AD fisheries, DFO Samba, District Soil Conservation Officer and other members of committee.

The meeting was held regarding execution of Mining lease and issuance of Fresh NOCs as per revised Performa devised by J&K Environment Impact Assessment Authority, JKEIAA.The DMO Samba apprised the chair regarding the fresh format of NOC issued by JKEIAA and after discussion on prime ends, the chair instructed the committee members to submit the requisite NOCs within stipulated time.

Further, issues regarding enforcement, identification of the site for establishing mineral check posts in the District, DMFT plan for the year, conversion of measuring units from MT to CFT were also discussed.

Chairman of the committee directed all officers present to issue necessary permissions/ NOCs within a time bound manner so that projects of national importance don’t suffer.
