Digital Week: Display of online services, e- governance initiatives mark Day 2 in Rajouri

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today said that the Government was committed to ensure transparency and accountability in its functioning and best possible measures are being taken in this regard.

He was speaking at a mega function organised as a part of Digital J&K Week here in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bunglow.The DC threw a detailed light on the objective behind the celebration of the week.

“The event aims at making the public aware of the digital initiatives launched by the government to provide them the best possible relief” he said and enumerated numerous measures taken by the Government to make the services easily accessible to the general public.

At the event, different departments had put up their stalls depicting varied online services offered by them. The resource persons highlighted the e-governance initiatives launched by the government to promote transparency, accountability and responsive working culture in departments.

Others present at the event included ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria and other District officers, besides a large gathering of public.
