Budgam : District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Mission Shakti Budgam in collaboration with OSC Budgam and Special cell for Women Budgam today organised an outreach cum awareness camp at Dawlatpora Chadoora.
The programme was attended by local women, female Sarpanches, Panches, AWWs, Helpers and other women representatives The DHEW team raised an awareness on various social issues such as Domestic Violence, Drug Abuse, Psychological problems and various services available at district to curb such issues.
The team further briefed participants about various Schemes such as Mission Shakti, OSC, WHL 181, Shelter Home, Marriage Assistance Scheme, CCI Child Care institution, ICPS, Old-age home, and all other women related Schemes available in various government departments.
DHEW Budgam also emphasised the importance of the BBBP campaign and stated that women can be empowered in a variety of ways.
