Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal reviews Republic day arrangements

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, held a meeting to review the arrangements being put in place for the Republic Day celebrations 2023.

Threadbare discussions were held in the meeting regarding the arrangements including drinking water, power supply, sanitation, barricading, security, and traffic regulation, seating arrangements, deployment of fire-tenders, and medical teams.

Kundal asked the officers to put in place all the necessary arrangements well in time for the smooth and enthusiastic celebrations of the National event. He also stressed close synergy between departments while making different arrangements for the smooth and successful celebrations of the Republic Day.

The celebration of the national event will begin with the playing of Shehnai Vadan by the Information Department and the district-level function will be organised at the District Police Line Rajouri, where the national flag will be unfurled by the chief guest followed by the parade comprising the contingents from J&K Police, CRPF, NCC cadets and school children.
