DDC reviews physical, financial status of works under SCA to TSP 2022-23

Poonch : District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet today reviewed the Physical and financial achievements of projects under SCA to TSP 2022-23 in the district.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Abid Hussain Shah; Chief Planning Officer Poonch, Maqsood Ahmed; CMO, Dr. Shamim Bhatti; CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer; District Social Welfare Officer, Mohinder Paul; CHO, Xen PDD, Irshad Hussain, Xen PHE, Munir Hussain, Xen REW, besides all concerned officers were present.

While reviewing the progress, the DDC took a comprehensive stock of progress of projects undertaken by different departments and set deadlines for all the departments to accelerate the pace of progress on ongoing projects so that the targets are achieved.

It was informed in the meeting that total funds under Tribal Model Village development plan for Khari Karmara, Gursai, Salotri-Jhulaas, Dara- morha Sanglani is Rs. 412.74 lakh out of which an expenditure of Rs. 77.96 lac has been incurred till 31 March, 2022.

The District Development Commissioner asked the concerned officers to provide basic facilities to the tribal population. The meeting reviewed the progress of schemes being executed by PWD, Rural Development, Sheep husbandry, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Forest, Rural Development, Power, Education, Youth Sports, PHE, Urban Development etc.

The DDC asked the concerned to complete the works across the district at an earliest. He also sought factual position on all ongoing works. The Deputy Commissioner strictly instructed the concerned officers to timely utilize the funds during the current financial year 2022-23.
