DDC Rajouri Vikas Kundal urges timely completion of crucial developmental projects

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, led a meeting to review the progress of major projects being executed by various departments. These included the Public Works Department (PWD), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Housing Board and Jal Shakti Department.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid and officers from other executing agencies. During the meeting, Kundal took stock of the status of ongoing projects and directed officers to expedite the pace of work to ensure timely completion.

He emphasised that the completion of these projects would lead to the development of the district and improve the lives of the people. Kundal directed the PWD officers to ensure the timely completion of road construction projects, including the construction of bridges, culverts and other associated infrastructure.

He also asked the PMGSY officials to expedite the work on ongoing road construction projects in the district. The DDC also reviewed the progress of the housing projects being undertaken by the Housing Board and directed officials to complete them at the earliest.

He also directed the Jal Shakti Department to ensure that the water supply projects in the district are completed on time to provide clean drinking water to the people.

In his concluding remarks, Kundal reiterated the importance of completing these projects on time and asked officers to work with dedication and commitment to achieve the desired results.
He also assured the officers of all possible support from the district administration in their efforts to complete the projects.
