DDC Rajouri Vikas Kundal reviews status of JJM schemes Stresses on speedy allotments, timely completion of ongoing projects

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress of schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission.Officers present in the meeting included SE Hydraulics, JP Singh; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; ExEn Jal Shakti Nowshera, Bashir Mohammad and other concerned officers.

At the outset, the SE Hydraulics informed that as many as Jal Jeevan Mission 293 schemes with estimated cost of Rs 1723 crore have been proposed for the district.He further apprised that out of 183 schemes in Rajouri subdivision, the tenders for 64 schemes have been allotted, while in Nowshera sub division, the tenders for 09 schemes out of 110 schemes have been allotted.

The meeting was further informed that the work on 23 schemes in Rajouri subdivision and 03 in Nowshera subdivision has been started.The meeting also discussed in detail the component wise allotment progress.

It was informed that in Rajouri subdivision out of 154 Borewells, the tenders of 39 Borewells have been allotted, while tenders for 02 OHTs have also been allotted.Similarly, the DDC also reviewed the progress regarding component wise allotments of all the schemes in both Rajouri and Nowshera subdivisions.

He asked the concerned officers to ensure that the tenders for all the schemes are allotted at the earliest so that the projects are executed and completed on time.
