DDC Kulgam reviews developmental scenario of the district

Kulgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of various developmental projects under execution in the district.On the occasion, the DDC sought a detailed account of various developmental works in progress under different sectors from the concerned officers.
The concerned officers briefed the DDC about the department wise progress of various ongoing projects under Capex budget for the current financial year. The DDC also reviewed the status of various languishing ongoing projects and works approved in the Back to Village programme. He impressed upon the officers to speed up the pace of work on these projects so that they are completed within the stipulated time frame.He also stressed for regular monitoring of works and directed the district heads to meet the targets and set timelines for the completion of vital projects in the district.The meeting was attended by ADDC, JD-Planning, ACD, Executive Engineers of R&B, Jal Shakti, PDD, CEO and other concerned officers.
