DDC Doda flags off ALS specified 108 ambulances to Kastigarh, Chilli, Chinta areas

Doda: District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today flagged off three fresh Advance Life Support (108 service) ambulances here from DC office complex to Health Institutions of Kastigarh and Chilli areas of Gandoh Teshil and Chinta areas of Bhaderwah to facilitate quick response to medical emergencies.The DDC enquired from the CMO about the facilities intact in the ambulance, besides sought details about the staff, for operating the medical equipment during the emergency time.

The CMO Dr Yaqoob Mir informed that the vehicles are fitted advance medical equipment including ventilator and an emergency dealing technician for each ambulance has been outsourced by the company.The ALS 108 ambulances shall serve in Chinta, Chilli, and Kastigarh area, while soon a similar ambulance will be started for Marmat area also.Among others present were Epidemiologist Umar Anayat khan, besides other concerned were also present.
