DDC Chairperson Ramban seeks timely completion of Area Development Fund works

Ramban : Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan has impressed upon the all executing agencies to ensure timely completion of all developmental works sanctioned and taken-up under Area Development Fund, 2021-22 of DDC, BDC and PRIs.The Chairperson also urged the BDC Chairperson and DDC Councilors and PRIs to attend the Gram Sabha meeting in their respective areas as per the schedule. She directed the officers to ensure presence of responsible officials and officers in the Gram Sabhas to be conducted in all Panchayats of the district for making the development plan for next fiscal (District Capex Plan 2022-23).Pertinently, the DDC Chairperson had recently chaired a marathon meeting of the Council also attended by District and Sectoral officers and took project and plan wise review of different sectors including RDD, PMGSY, PWD, Health, Education and Jal Shakti was conducted.

Besides discussing the status of all sanctioned works in detail, the BDC Chairpersons and DDC Councilors also reviewed the physical and financial progress made by the different departments on developmental projects being executed in their respective jurisdictions.While reviewing the action plan adopted by the different departments to complete the all taken-up works under Area Development Fund, the DDC Chairperson directed the officers of executing departments to expedite progress on execution of works.The Chairperson directed the District and Sectoral officers to direct their field officers to remain stationed at their place of posting for ensuring tangible achievements in developmental projects of ADF and other schemes.The officers also informed the PRIs about targets, progress and achievements recorded under different schemes in their respective departments during current fiscal.
