DC Ramban interacts with students at GMHSS Batote, reviews functioning of school

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today visited Model Government Higher Secondary School, Batote and interacted with the students, besides reviewed the functioning of the school.

The principal of the GMHSS, Dev Raj, Senior officers, and staff members were present on the occasion.The DC gave several pieces of advice and tips to the students regarding preparedness for appearing and cracking the competitive exams for civil services and other professional courses at UT as well as at the National level.

He advised them to read newspapers on a daily basis to update their knowledge. Interacting with students during morning assembly, the Deputy Commissioner asked the students to focus on their studies, besides take part in extracurricular activities for their overall personality development.

He also informed the students about the initiatives taken by the Government and District Administration to facilitate the youth aspiring for different careers.

The DC also encouraged them to become entrepreneurs by starting their own start-ups besides generating job opportunities for other job seekers which is the need of the hour.

He also advised the students to plan their careers keeping in view the demands of professionals across the world, especially professions linked with the current digital as well as the industrial world.

Meanwhile, the Principal apprised the DC about staff strength, class enrollment, and infrastructural status of schools. The DC assured of his full support in the development and encouragement of the school and its students.
