DC Ramban distributes 16 scooties among specially abled persons

Ramban : In consonance with the J&K State Rehabilitation Council’s UT level move for providing handholding to persons with special needs launched by the Lieutenant Governor at Jammu, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Musarrat Islam handed over modified Scooties to specially-abled persons, here today.ADDC Ramban, Rajinder Sharma, ACP Swarn Singh, DSWO, Wahid-ul-Rahman, DIO, NIC Naveen and several other officers were also present on the occasion.

The specially designed Scooters (Scooties) provided by the J&K State Rehabilitation Council were distributed among 16 specially abled persons.The Beneficiaries hailed the initiative of the department and praised LG Manoj Sinha and DC Ramban for initiating social assistance and other beneficiary oriented schemes for their empowerment.
