DC Rajouri visits block Doongi to identify suitable site for construction of GDC building

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal along with a team of the officers recently visited block Doongi. The objective of the visit was to identify a suitable site for the construction of building for Government Degree College Doongi which is currently functioning from the GHSS Doongi.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the Tehsildar to identify a suitable site for GDC Doongi for the students in consultation with the locals. The Tehsildar was asked to assess the area for feasibility and explore the possible sites.

The DC Rajouri expressed his hope that the Tehsildar will be able to provide a suitable site for the GDC Doongi which is an important educational institution in the region. He also said that the new site should have adequate space to accommodate classrooms, laboratories and other facilities for the students and faculty.

The DC Rajouri, Vikas Kundal has promised to take all necessary steps to ensure that GDC Doongi will be a source of pride and progress for the people of Doongi. The Tehsildar has been directed to present his recommendations to the DC Rajouri in due course for approval.
