DC Rajouri hands over Ex-gratia relief to the affected families of Phalyana incident

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today visited the affected families of those who lost their lives in the tragic Phalyana incident and handed over ex-gratia relief sanctioned by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor.

Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha had earlier announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 5 lakh for each affected family. The Deputy Commissioner expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members and assured them of every possible support and assistance from the administration.

On the day of the incident, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri had also provided immediate relief of Rs One lakh to the affected families. The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohd Aslam, and Accounts Officer, Rajesh Sharma.
