DC Poonch Inder Jeet chairs DLRC meeting
Poonch : District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to review the performance of Banks under Annual Credit Plan (ACP) of FY:2022-23 and amp; Government Sponsored Cases for the July to September Quarter.
JK Bank Lead Bank Office Poonch besides DDM NABARD, Kanav Sharma, General Manager DIC, Dr. Zakir Hussain, Dy. Director Employment, Mohammad Rafiq, Cluster Head JK Bank Poonch, A.K.S. Bagee, Director JK Bank RSETI, Vijay Singh Jasrotia, Regional Manager JKGB, Gagandeep Singh, District Coordinators of all Banks and amp, District Officers of Government Departments attended the meet.
Lead District Manager Poonch, Ashutosh Raj Koul informed the house that under ACP, Banks operating in the District have made total credit disbursement of Rs. 372.64 Cr. against an annual target of Rs. 710.46 Cr registering the achievement of 52%.
Out of these Rs.162.42 Cr have been disbursed in Priority Sector against annual target of Rs. 560.64 achieving 29% of target, besides Rs. 210.21 Cr in Non-priority sector against annual target of Rs. 149.81 Cr thereby achieving 140% of the target.
It was also informed to the house that the total deposits & amp; advances in the District were at Rs.3301.69 Cr & Rs.1727.39 Cr as on 30.09.2022 against Rs. 3272.78 Cr & amp; Rs. 1466.46 Cr against the corresponding period of last year thus showing a growth of 0.88% & amp; 17.79% YOY respectively in both the segments (Rs. 28.91 Cr & Rs. 260.93 Cr.)
The CD Ratio of the District as on 30.09.2022 stood at 52.32% which was at 44.81% on 30.09.2021 showing a growth of 14.35 % YOY. In addition to this an amount of Rs. 15.52 Cr was disbursed amongst 443 beneficiaries under various Self Employment Schemes thus providing employment to 1505 unemployed youth till 2nd Quarter of FY (2022-23).
Chairman DLRC impressed upon all the stakeholders to create an enabling environment, where youth can think beyond Government Jobs and for this to happen avenues for gainful self employment have to be strengthened.
Since employment generation is a major challenge, Chairman DLRC further advised all the participants to go an extra mile and show empathy towards the unemployed youth in guiding them towards the path of prosperity and self-sufficiency through various credit facilities tailored in accordance to their entrepreneurial aspirations.
Chairman DLRC directed all the stakeholders to improve performance under priority sector lending so that results are visible on ground.
