DC Kupwara Imam Din visits SDH Kupwara

Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Sub District Hospital Kupwara to see and enquire about the health condition of a number of patients who were admitted in the hospital, because of food poisoning. The DC during the visit interacted with the patients and enquired about the facilities being provided by the hospital administration. He also interacted with doctors on duty and directed them to provide better healthcare facilities to the patients.On the occasion, the DC was informed that 35 persons of Mirnaag Hyhama village were admitted to the hospital following food poisoning. The patients were given instant treatment and provided all possible facilities.The DC was informed that the Rapid Response Team of IDSP and Block Rapid Response Team (RRT) and other doctors also visited the place and got all requisite sampling for further analysis. Meanwhile, the DC constituted a team of Doctors/ Paramedical Staff headed by CMO/DHO to monitor the situation.
