DC Kupwara, Imam Din visits Kandi areas, inspects on-going construction works

Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited the Kandi areas of Nutnussa block and held a series of activities. The DC visited NTPHC Kandi and inspected various sections of the hospital including OPD, Dental and X-Ray section. He interacted with patients and enquired about the health care facilities being provided to them by the hospital administration.He also interacted with doctors and paramedics of the hospital and directed them to ensure smooth patient care. The DC also inspected on-going construction of Panchayat Bhavan of Kandi-A.

It was informed on the occasion, that out of total cost of Rs.14.95 lakh, Rs.8 lakh has been expended on its execution so far. He was informed that 70 percent work has been accomplished and it is expected that the building will be completed within the current financial year.He also visited the playground at Kandi and interacted with the local public and field functionaries of the Sports department. He heard both the stakeholders and resolved the local issue with regard to Volleyball court, on spot.During the visit, various public deputations met DC who put forth their developmental issues before him. The DC heard them patiently and assured resolution of their genuine grievances.
