DC Kulgam visits various areas of the district

Kulgam : To listen to the issues and grievances of people for their early redressal, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today presided over a grievance redressal camp at Laisoo Gudder, here.

On the occasion, the general public apprised the DC of various issues that they were confronting in their day to day lives and also raised several demands.
The locals equivocally raised the demand of construction of a flood protection bund to eliminate the threat of floods to the village, besides a number of other demands.

All the issues of people were listened to patiently by the DC and some of them of immediate nature were redressed on the spot.The DC also visited several areas of the district and took stock of damage caused to Divergen at Aadigen.

Later, Dr Bilal also took stock of pace and progress on residential quarters at Liroo and instructed the concerned executing agency to expedite the pace of work to ensure early completion of residential blocks there.
