DC Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav chairs e-Auction committee meeting

Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, today chaired a meeting of e-Auction Committee convened to discuss the e-Auctioning of minor mineral block Kurya here in village Filler.

On the occasion, the District Mineral Officer (Member Secretary) apprised the committee members about various terms and conditions of the e-auction process. He said the auction of Kurya block was going to be opened on 20th of March 2023.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the DMO to ensure proper notification, advertisement and publication of the e-Auction in the leading newspapers of UT and National reputation.

The DC stressed for scientific and sustainable extraction of minerals without damaging ecology and aquatic life in the area. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner also instructed the concerned officers to stay vigilant against illegal mining ,while extraction of minerals.

The members put their valuable suggestions with regard to the excavation of minerals. The meeting was attended by all Committee Members, which include DTO, Lokesh Kumar; DMO, Dr. Brijesh Manhas; Executive Engineer PWD, Ravinder Kumar and Ex En Jal Shakti, Sunil Kumar Sharma.
