DC Kathua Rahul Pandey reviews progress of PWD (R&B), PMGSY and JKPCC works

Kathua : Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rahul Pandey chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of projects undertaken by PWD (R&B), PMGSY and JKPCC here at the conference hall of DC Office Complex today.

The DC took detailed review of works taken up by the PWD sector under different schemes viz. UT & District CAPEX, CRF, DDC, BDC, PRI grants, NABARD, Languishing, City & Town, NFB, SSY etc besides taking appraisal of the latest physical and financial progress of projects under JKPCC.

The DC directed XENs of PWD(R&B), JKPCC, PMGSY to speed up the execution of works in the respective jurisdictions so as to achieve 100% of the targets within the stipulated time frame.

The DC also emphasized on expediting the payment in case of completed works. He called for achieving physical and financial progress in every scheme sanctioned before the end of the current financial year and not to carry forward any liabilities to next fiscal.

The meeting was attended by CPO Kathua, XEN PWD Div Kathua, XEN PMGSY Kathua, AEE PWD(R&B) Basohli and other concerned.
