DC Kathua Rahul Pandey inaugurates Community Development Projects under CSR at GGMS
Extols GCPL for adopting School, upgrading Infra to facilitate students
Kathua : Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey today inaugurated Community Development Projects constructed by M/s Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) Kathua under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at Govt Girls Middle School (GGMS) Chack Sheikhan.
The DC Kathua extolled the efforts of GCPL for adopting the school and carrying out upgradation of Classrooms besides developing a Computer Lab and installing Drinking Water System thus facilitating the students and staff of the school.
On the occasion, it was apprised that GCPL Kathua has handed over One Class room, one Computer Lab with ten computers, computer tables, chairs and lab renovated with tile work and inverter for lab power backup, Bore well along with water filter system, water cooler for safe drinking water for student and staff under CSR initiative-2022 at Govt. Middle School, Chack Sheikhan, Kathua.
The DC was accompanied by VP Manufacturing operation GCPL, K. Abdul Samad, CEO Kathua P. L. Thapa, ZEO Kathua besides other officials of GCPL and School management. Speaking on the occasion, HR GCPL Ajay Parsija said that in the past too GCPL has contributed for community development projects and assured that it will continue to contribute for the betterment of the society in future also.
