DC Doda, Vikas Sharma conducts surprise inspection of govt offices in Sub-Division Assar

Doda : Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today paid a surprise visit to Sub division Assar and inspected government offices. He took first hand assessment of the public delivery mechanism and availability of staff.The DC visited SDM office, Tehsil office, PHC, Higher Secondary School, ZEO office and BDO office. He interacted with public and took stock of facilities and mechanism of public grievances redress system.At tehsil office, office a Patwari and Junior Assistant were found absent without sanctioned leave. The Zonal Education Officer was also found absent both in his office and at HSS Assar where he holds additional charge as the Principal.

While inspecting BDO office, BDO, Programme officer and one helper were found absent without leave. The Staff informed that BDO is on leave, however no such leave was available in the office. The SDM Assar was asked to seek explanation of all the absentees and submit action taken report in two days.During the tour, he also visited PHC Assar and met with six injured accident victims which occurred today.Out of the six injured two were discharged after first aid treatment while two were referred to GMC Doda and other two were admitted at PHC Assar. He enquired about the treatment being given to them. He instructed for proper cleanliness in the health centre and checked complaint boxes installed at various offices and emphasized upon timely disposal and their proper upkeep.Meanwhile, Block Diwas, was organised at designated places viz Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri, Assar and Gandoh, observing all SOPs for Covid-19 and taking due care of ceiling on gathering of public.
