DC Doda reviews working of Revenue department

Doda : Deputy CommissionerDoda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of key officials of revenue department here at DC office to review working of the department and progress in key indicators.During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held regarding certification of missing revenue record, scanning of revenue documents, digitisation of land records, anti encroachment drives, IEC activity on “Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani”, Updation of Jamabandis, besides other important revenue issues were discussed in detail.

The DC also inquired about retrieval of government Land and asked the department to intensify anti-encroachment drives to vacate the land from encroachers.The DC further asked the department to issue certificates that no record is pending for scanning or yet not submitted for scanning at Tehsildar level as per the prescribed format.Similarly, he asked for early updation of village wise land record on the designated portal and intensifying the recently launched IEC campaign on Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani initiative. The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, ACR Doda, ACD Doda, AC Panchayats, SDMs, besides all Tehsildars were also present.
