DC Bandipora visits fire victims at remote village TA Shah

Provides cash assistance, other household items to affected family

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Saturday visited the fire affected family of T.A Shah to take firsthand appraisal of the post fire situation.

On the occasion, the DC expressed grief over the fire incident and extended sympathies with the affected family. It is important to mention that last night a residential house was gutted in fire, resulting in the spot death of a 35 year old woman.

The DC took a round of the gutted house and interacted with the affected family members. The DDC member Arin apprised the DC about the condition and post fire situation faced by the affected family.

The DC provided an immediate relief of Rs.70, 000 to the affected family and also provided immediate assistance in the form of blankets, utensils and other essentials to the family for their temporary rehabilitation.

Dr. Owais also assured every possible support from District Administration to the fire victims.
