DC Anuradha Gupta chairs DLRC Meeting
Samba : A meeting of District Level Review Committee/District Consultative Committee (DLRC/DCC) for the Quarter ended June and December 2022, was chaired today by Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta to review the performance of Banks with regard to Deposits, Advances, CD Ratio, and achievement under Annual Credit Plan for the FY 2022-23.
The meeting also reviewed the progress under various Govt. Sponsored and Social Security Schemes. The meeting was convened by Sanjay Dhar, Lead District Manager (LDM), Samban and attended by CPO Samba, Sukhleen Kour; ACD, Sidarth Dhiman; LDO RBI, DDM NABARD, Chief Agriculture Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, AD Fisheries, District Coordinators of J&K Bank, SBI, PNB, JKGB, representatives of other Banks and Officials of other Sponsoring Government Departments/Agencies
The LDM informed that Banks operating in Samba District have recorded Deposits of Rs.6403 Cr. and Advances of Rs.3675 Cr., as on Sept 30, 2022. The C.D. Ratio of the District was 57.38%. The achievement of Banks in the District under Annual Credit Plan 2022-23 stood at Rs 1109 Cr. against Annual Target of Rs.2320 Cr, recording growth of 48%.
Under the Priority Sector, the Achievement by Banks stood at Rs.684 Cr against Annual Target of Rs.1967 Cr. recording growth of 35.00%, While as under Non-priority Sector the achievement was Rs.425 Cr. against Annual Target of Rs352 Cr. recording a growth of 121.00%.
DDC took an extensive review of Government Sponsored Schemes with Special focus on KCC, PM SVANidhi, PMAY, PMEGP, JKREGP, NRLM, NULM, etc.
She advised all Sponsoring Agencies and Banks to spread awareness among people about various Self-employment Schemes launched by the Government and motivate them to avail the benefits of these Schemes for generating self-employment opportunities in the District.
She directed all the Banks to clear the pending cases Sponsored by different Govt. Departments/Agencies at the earliest and give a boost to lending, particularly under Agriculture & Allied activities, MSME Housing and Education Sectors, to achieve a healthy CD ratio.
She also directed the Banks to cover all eligible persons under Social Security Schemes viz, PMSBY, PMJJBY & APY.
