ADC Budgam stresses on speedy completion of developmental works

Budgam : The District Administration Budgam today held Block Diwas at Panchayat Halqa Takia Farooq (TF) Shah in Block Khansahab of Budgam. The programme was chaired by ADC Budgam, Dr Nasir Ahmad Lone. On the occasion, PRIs and others respected from village TF Shah, Mulnar, Samsan, Shanipora, Kenora and other adjacent villages apprised the ADC about their needs.

After giving patient hearing to the public, the ADC assured that all genuine demands shall be looked into on priority. Speaking on the occasion, the ADC stressed on providing better facilities to the people and emphasized on better educational facilities including upgradation of schools and work completion on all ongoing projects, infrastructure development in the area.

ADC instructed on conducting Safety audit of Primary school building at Mulnar and reconstruction of repairing work whatever is recommended by the concerned Department is carried out on priority. He urged locals to register for Golden cards for health insurance and ensure saturation in the registration process.

He said that under JJM, all households shall be connected with tap water supply under different WSS approved for the TF Shah area. He stressed on the speedy completion of ongoing developmental works in all panchayat halqas and instructed concerned to fix responsibility for the delay in the work execution/ completion.

ADC directed PDD authorities to erect poles at required spots and carry out improvement works of LT and HT lines on war footing. In order to ensure a smooth supply of water, he instructed concerned to ensure hassle-free functioning of all WSSs.

PMGSY and R&B authorities were instructed to take up development and macadamization works of roads and for better connectivity to the general public. Meanwhile, various district officers spoke threadbare about their public welfare schemes on the occasion.

SDM Khansahab, CEO Budgam, CAO, DSHO, CHO, AEEs from PDD, PHE, and Irrigation and other concerned officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
