Kishtwar : Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Sham Lal today reviewed the physical and financial status of SpillOver Schemes (SOS) and new works under Area Development Plan 2022-23 in a meeting of concerned officers, here today.
The meeting was attended by JD planning, Mohd Iqbal; ACD, Atul Dutt Sharma; DPO, Sunil Bhutyal ; Xen REW, Pershotam Kumar; Xen PHE Ajay Talwar; XEN PWD Marwah, Mohd Aslam Lone; DTO Lokesh Kumar; all BDOs besides other concerned.
During the meeting, block and sector wise physical and financial status of works under SOS were reviewed in detail.Laying thrust on making the timely payments in the SOS sector, the ADDC directed the BDOs to take appropriate steps to achieve the physical and financial targets and submit the bills in treasury by 31st July 2022.
The District Treasury officer (DTO) was asked to co-operate and co-ordinate with the concerned department to make the payment of works in a hassle free manner.While reviewing the ADP for the current financial year, ADDC directed Ex En REW to pace up the estimates for left out new works and submit the same within two days failing which strict action will be taken.
Besides, all BDOs were directed to ensure the tendering, allotment and execution of new works in a stipulated time frame to avoid lapse of funds.Besides other issues regarding the timely payment of wages under MGNREGA, completion of PRIs works were also discussed in the meeting.
