ACR Ramban reviews functioning of Revenue Department

Ramban : Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ramban Gias-Ul –Haq today chaired a meeting of Revenue officers and officials to review the status of updating of revenue records especially Musavi to improve online revenue services.

During the meeting attended by the SDM, Gool Tanveer-ul- Nahid, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, and field functionaries, the ACR also reviewed the overall functioning of the Revenue Department in the district.

The matters pertaining to the Revenue Department like updation and digitization of revenue records of different Tehsils were discussed. Besides, the ACR set the targets for completion of the assignments entrusted to different officials.

He said that the updating of digital records is essential and pivotal in enabling the revenue records. The officers and officials apprised the ACR about the progress recorded by them on the writing of Musavi in their jurisdictions and the ACR directed concerned officers to expedite the process updation of all revenue records to achieve the targets.
