35 candidates complete training, registered under JKREGP

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today felicitated 35 boys and girls, an aspiring entrepreneur batch, during a valedictory function held at Conference Hall in Budgam.The batch has successfully completed its training and has been registered under J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) through J&K Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (JKB RSETI), Budgam.On the occasion, DC Budgam distributed certificates among the trained youth. During the interaction, the aspiring entrepreneurs shared their valid ideas on creating and establishing self employment generation units in the district.

Stressing on the self employment generation, the DC urged the youth to avail benefits from government sponsored schemes and make best use of the training to become successful entrepreneurs.He urged youth to turn lack of facilities into opportunities and become job providers instead of job seekers. He said there are huge opportunities for aspiring youngsters who can avail various benefits under different government schemes being implemented in the District.The DC further laid stress on all concerned Departments to ensure ease of doing business and support youth to help them in establishing their business units.Among others GM DIC Budgam, Director JKB RSETI Budgam, AD Employment DECC Budgam and other concerned officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
