Entrepreneur Shama Kausar, a woman from a small town of Dhanbad, Jharkhand now owns an IT company in Delhi

New Delhi: She is Founder of 24Orbit a Delhi Based Company with which she is empowering women by making them earn flexibly. Also she is co-founder of Soanmenu, an online digital menu creation company where she is helping businesses go online for free.Shama Kausar is a strong business woman cum entrepreneur, social activist, and a woman full of talent who is contributing a decent amount of wealth to make the economy better and spreading Entrepreneurship, Empowerment and Employment on the way.Shama Kausar is from a very simple family from Small town known as Bhelatand a smaller part of Dhanbad, Jharkhand. By the time she was doing her schooling, there were very limited resources available like limited networks, no technology, inequality of women etc.She says “by that time society is not concerned for education for girl children and forcing them to get married at a very early stage, and get involved in household chores. There my father stood always by my side and supported me to complete my schooling from DAV Sijua and then for engineering he sent me to RVSCET Jamshedpur. He played a great role in framing my mind set for education, career and broad thought. Since he is employed with TATA Steel and is holding a Reputed position he was very keen with my overall development eg- body language, Communication, Educational Trip, hobbies enhancement classes etc and provide me a fruitful time for making all these development possible. He Never let me do any household chores.After Completion of Engineering, Where society is more concerned with marriage and making me learn household work and cooking, He motivated me to move to Delhi and pursue my career. Nobody supported this decision of my father, still he was always withstanding by my side.

Coming from a small town where girls are not allowed to travel even half a km of market alone there I was moving to Delhi alone. Finding a safe shelter, decent job and managing life independently was never easy.Even After being in Metropolitan city -Delhi I have seen that women’s life is not easy. Highly qualified women posing greater positions in organizations also need to compromise career when it comes to family and responsibilities. I have seen them taking a break thinking they would join back soon but then no organization welcomes them due to their professional break. And with great qualification and professional experience they have to sit back at home and engage themself every other responsibility other than career and end up being frustrated.So this scenario always motivated me to quit my job as International Business Manager to create a platform for those extremely talented and experienced personalities who deserve a flexible working hour to manage everything smoothly and this idea led to the establishment of 24Orbit.
