Charanjit Singh Channi Visits Jalandhar MLAs, Meets Minister And Ex-Minister

Asks them to ensure every eligible get benefit of government's pro-poor initiatives

Jalandhar : Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Sunday said that Punjab Government is committed for all-around development of the city and would ensure continuous flow of the funds for timely completion of the ongoing projects in the city.During his visit, the CM visited all the three MLAs of the city where he had one to one interaction with MLAs and party workers, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said that his government has already expedited the pace of developmental works to facilitate the people of the city.Channi said that the government would address all the civic issues belonging to the Jalandhar city as directions have been issued to officials to leave no stone unturned for speedy completion.The Chief Minister told that the every department has been given deadlines to accomplish ongoing projects soon. He further mentioned that all concerned departments have been asked to strictly adhere to given time-frame as any kind of laxity in this task would be highly unwarranted.

Meanwhile, during his visit to MLA Rajinder Beri’s residence at central town, the CM while expressing a humble gesture touched the feet of MLA’s septuagenarian mother and sought her blessings besides inquiring about her well-being.Likewise he also had personal interaction with other family members and councillors of the constituency.Thereafter, the CM met Member Parliament Chaudhry Santokh Singh’s residence and discussed the various issues concerning to development of Jalandhar district.Afterwards, Channi went to the residence of west constituency MLA Sushil Kumar Rinku where Cabinet Minister Rana Gurjit Singh align with Rinku welcomed him. CM also held detailed deliberations regarding effective implementation of government’s recent pro-poor decisions in the district.Later, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi spoke to Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training Chairman Mohinder Singh Kaypee and MLA Bawa Henry at their residences.He also asked them and congress leaders to ensure that all benefits of pro-poor schemes reach to the people.
