Ankur Warikoo at India Today Conclave Mumbai 2022: I pick up all my failures and make them into a story

Mumbai : In his session titled Doing Epic Shit: What drives Ankur Warikoo, The Unlikely Internet Star, Ankur Warikoo spoke about his achievements and failures and creating content on YouTube that appealed to the younger generation.

YouTuber-entrepreneur Ankur Warikoo spoke about success and failure with respect to his life at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2022 on November 5. In his session titled Doing Epic Shit: What drives Ankur Warikoo, The Unlikely Internet Star, Warikoo detailed the process of creating content on YouTube that appealed to the younger generation.

ON THE JOURNEY FROM WORKING IN CORPORATE TO BEING A CONTENT CREATOR

Speaking about the journey, Ankur Warikoo said, “It wasn’t planned. I decided to take a break from Nearbuy, then came lockdown. I had such a wonderful time when I started creating content. I believe that there was an audience waiting for that content.”

When asked about the one thing that made him different from other content creators, he said, “I spoke openly about failure.”

ON TWISTS AND TURNS IN LIFE THAT CONTRIBUTED TO BRAND WARIKOO

While narrating his viewpoint of life, Ankur Warikoo said, “I pick up all my failures and make it into a story. The way that I project it is portraying that these are my failures. I didn’t get through any top colleges and companies and I still turned out to be what I am. I hope people take inspiration from that.”

Ankur Warikoo is an Indian YouTuber, entrepreneur and an author. He is the former CEO of Groupon India, co-founder & former CEO of Nearbuy. In 2021, he published his first book – Do Epic Shit.
