Himachalis vote decisive in MC poll : Jai Ram Thakur

HP CM addressed a series of public meetings

Chandigarh: Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has said that the votes of Himachalis will play a decisive role during the upcoming Chandigarh MC elections. Jai Ram Thakur was addressing a series of election meetings in support of BJP candidates on Friday.He campaigned for Sarvjit Kaur Dhillon (Ward No. 6) at Manimajra, Kuljeet Singh Sandhu (Ward No. 14) at Dhanas, Anoop Gupta (Ward No. 11) in Sector-21, Ravinder Pathania (Ward No. 29) in Sector-56, Bharat Kumar (Ward No. 31) at Sector-52, Shakti Devshali (Ward No. 30) at Sector 41 and finally at Sector 29 event organized by Himachal Cell.
Thakur said that many people of Himachal have made Chandigarh their permanent home. There is a mutual family bond between the Himachalis and Chandigarh. Due to this twilight and for the convenience of the people of Himachalis settled in Chandigarh, CM Single Window has been started at Himachal Bhawan, Sector-28 which helps native residents living in Chandigarh to file their complaints and suggestions for the development of the state.He further said that the people of hill state have not faced any problem in UT during the last five years. This is clear evidence that the BJP led MC has protected the interests of the people of Himachal.Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Tandon, co-in-charge of Himachal and former president of Chandigarh BJP, said that during the last five years, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas has been strengthened here. During the occasion State General Secretary Chandrashekhar while welcoming the guests said that BJP is getting stronger in the corporation elections.
