Haryana Nursing Welfare Association office bearers met Health Minister Anil Vij

Chandigarh : Haryana Nursing Welfare Association office bearers called on Haryana Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij today at Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh and express their gratitude for changing the nomenclature of Staff Nurse, Nursing Sister and Matron.It is noteworthy that according to the office bearers of the Nursing Welfare Association, now on the pattern of the Union Government, all the staff nurses working in the state government hospitals have been changed to Nursing Officers. Similarly, Nursing Sister has been renamed as Senior Nursing Officer and Matron has been renamed as Chief Nursing Officer.

On this occasion, State President of Nursing Welfare Association, Smt. Sunita informed that under the above mentioned posts, at present about 2200 employees will be called by these new designations and these include both male and female.Association secretary Vinita Bangar, Deputy President Nirmal Dhanda, Joint Secretary Sudesh Chaudhary, Organization Secretary Chandrakanta, Kamaljeet, Suman and Santosh Ahlawat were also present on the occasion.
