Gita ji’s tells “what is right, what is wrong, what is wisdom, what is decency, what is wickedness, what is good, what is bad” – Home Minister Anil Vij

Chandigarh/Sydney : Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the teachings of Gita ji tell people “what is right, what is wrong, what is wisdom, what is decency, what is wickedness, what is good, what is bad” The knowledge of all these has been explained in the Gita ji.
He said that the path has been shown and told through the Gita for mankind to go on the right path so that there can be light in their life.Sh. Vij was addressing the gathering at the International Gita Seminar on the theme “Gita An Epitome of Peace, Fraternity and Harmony” organized under the International Gita Mahotsav at Darling Harbour Theater in Sydney, Australia today.
Guru Sharananand Ji Maharaj, Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

He said that we have started this seminar of the International Gita Mahotsav program by lighting the lamp. He said that it is our tradition that we often do our programs by lighting a lamp because the lamp dispels the darkness and shows the way to the light.
He said that about 5000 years ago Lord Shri Krishna preached Geeta ji through his disciple Arjuna to lighten the lives of the people, which show light to the person in the curved paths of life.

In the program, Sh. Vij said that “There is a lot of discussion on religion, religion is discussed all over the world, but religion is a word of 3 letters, that is, to take such a path, which gives freedom, leads to destination and gets salvation.
He said that if Gita ji is tested on this formula, then it has all the qualities. It can give you the destination you want in life and if you want to get salvation then it can give you. Gyan Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Sankhya Yoga, Karma Yoga, all types of yogas have been mentioned in it, he added.

Sh. Vij said that every person has different values, qualities, religion, he can follow the path he wants to follow, but all the paths have been mentioned in detail in Gita ji. Giving an example, he said that the way Gita ji is a key to succeed in life, just as it used to be the key to succeed in the examination.
He said that to achieve every milestone in life, it is told through Gita ji to tell “tujhe karna hai kya and na karna hai kya”. He said that the knowledge given in Gita for mankind was not only for Arjuna, it was not only for Arjuna’s army, it was not only for the people of Kurukshetra, it was not only for the people of India, that knowledge was for the entire humanity.

He said that it is our good fortune that the knowledge of Gita ji was given on the land of Haryana, in Dharmakshetra Kurukshetra, so it is the responsibility of the Haryana government and us to spread the knowledge that has been given on our land to every corner of the world.
He said that we are also fortunate that Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj has worked day and night to take this forward.

He said that the divine knowledge of Gita ji was given in Sanskrit, Sanskrit is not our mother tongue, we speak Hindi, we speak Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi etc. but this knowledge is given in Sanskrit and to go to the depth of this knowledge, it is also very important to be a know about Sanskrit so that we can extract its correct meaning.
Therefore Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj and other Maharaj are working today to spread its knowledge so that its real meaning can be conveyed to the people. He said that today this program was organized in Australia. Earlier, International Gita Mahotsav has been organized in Canada, UK and Mauritius.
