Services are also being digitized and made online in Haryana, online application system for arms license and arms training launched by the Chief Minister- Anil Vij

Chandigarh : Haryana Home Minister, Anil Vij said that the services are being digitized by the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and similarly services are being digitized and made online in Haryana under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal.

He said that in this episode, online application system portal for Arms License and Arms Training has been launched of Haryana Police today.Sh. Vij was addressing the people through virtual mode on the occasion of launch of portal of online application system for arms license and arms training of Haryana Police here today. This program was organized at RTC Bhondsi, Gurugram where Chief Minister Manohar Lal was present as the chief guest.

*Citizens of Haryana will soon be able to get arms license online – Vij*
He said that earlier the the applicant could not get proper reply to the information regarding his application of arm licence. He said that the citizens of Haryana would soon be able to get arms license online.

This work has been made possible with the help of National Informatics Centre, Citizen Resource Information Department, Home Department and Haryana Police. All these departments will work together in the arms licensing process.

*Applicants related to arms license will not have to go to the office – Vij*
Sh. Vij said that in this online process, the applicant will not have to go to any office for the services related to renewal of license, adding information about ammunition, loss of weapon etc. and such services will be available online only. Through this system, all the services from online application for license to getting information will be available online.

*Application and certificate of arms training will be available online-Vij*
In addition, there is also arms and ammunition safety training for applicants who wish to learn arms handling and firing. Earlier this training was given by the Home Guard Department.

For this, now the application and fee of Rs 1500 will be paid online and the certificate will also be available online. The training will be of three days duration and will consist of two days of indoor theory classes and one day practical training which will also include firing drills. At the end of training, Haryana Police will issue certificates to applicants.

He said that this process will be completely online. There are many benefits to the digital application process. The most important of which is time and transparency. Now there will be no middleman in this work and this process has become very easy. That’s why this portal has been started.

*Condolence on the demise of DSP, Haryana Police, Mr. Surendra Singh*
On this occasion, Mr. Vij condoled the murder of DSP of Haryana Police, Mr. Surendra Singh. On this occasion, two minutes of mourning was also expressed by standing on the demise of DSP Surendra Singh.

Earlier, Haryana Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Sh. Rajiv Arora said that under this system, 14 services related to arms license are being started today in the first phase. He said that perhaps Haryana is the first state in the country where this online weapon system has been started.

On this occasion, Haryana Director General of Police, Shri P.K. Agarwal also addressed. Additional Director General of Police, Chandigarh, Sh. Sandeep Khirwar was present on the occasion.
