Chandigarh : Five newly appointed trainee officers of the Indian Police Service today paid a courtesy call on the Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, at the Haryana Civil Secretariat. These officers included Ms. Deepti Garg, Sh. Mayank Mishra, Sh. Logesh Kumar, Ms. Prabina P. and Ms. Jasleen Kaur of 2020 batch. Sh. Vij extended his best wishes to all these officers and wished them a bright future.The Home Minister said that all the officers should discharge their duties with dedication and honesty and also work to provide benefits of policies and schemes being run by the government to the poor and needy persons.

He asked the officers to maintain constant contact with the general public, which would increase more confidence in the police and the public. He told the newly appointed police officers that they will be able to experience working from the beat level to SP level in the field where situation on the ground and problems faced by the public will be known. All the officers shared their experiences and told that in the training they were taught about the priority of public service and they will work in this spirit while discharging their duties.
