Prabodh Saxena and Dr. Baldi call on Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar

Shimla : Additional Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena called on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. It was a courtesy call.Chairman, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Dr. Shrikant Baldi also gave a courtesy call to the Governor and apprised that the main objective of the Authority was regulation and promotion of the real estate sector with the intention to bring transparency in the real estate business by insisting mandatory disclosure of project details to the property buyers. He added that it also intends to protect the interests of consumers in the real estate sector and to establish an adjudicating mechanism for speedy dispute redressal.

Later, General Secretary, HP Council for Child Welfare Payal Vaidya called on the Governor and apprised him that the Council was promoting the formulation and implementation of policies and programmes relating to welfare of children in the State. It was working for liaison between officials, members, non-official agencies and organizations. She also detailed various activities of the Council.National President, Bhartiya Patrakar Kalyan Manch Pawan Ashri and President of Press Club Shimla Anil Bhardwaj also called on the Governor and presented a memorandum demanding pension and health facilities to the journalists of Himachal on the pattern of Haryana government.
