Shimla : Union minister Anurag Thakur was warming welcomed on his arrival in shimla.Thakur said that India is celebrating 75 years of its independence and the country is in celebration mode.
He said the all citizens of the State and nation should come forward and put tirangas on their houses from 13 to 15th of August.Today is 9th August which depicts August karanti diwas when our freedom fighters stated quit inida movement .
Let us come together and remember the struggle of our freedom fighters.He also said that india is performing well in the Commonwealth games , we have done well in weight lifting to athletesa and our overall performance has improved.India has won 61 medals and we also dominated keneya in running events.India is growing stronger and better. We are heading towards new india.
