Chief Minister announces to open Health Sub Centre at Chaihri Batwara

Mandi : Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated developmental projects worth crores of rupees at Panjai in Seraj assembly constituency of Mandi district.Chief Minister inaugurated Rs. 70 lakh building of Government Senior Secondary School Panjai, Rs 1.45 crore additional building of Forest Rest House, Rs 1.77 crore Primary Health Centre building Panjai, Rs 1.09 crore reconstruction work of Kau Deodhar Lift Water Supply Scheme.

He also inaugurated the sub-division of Jal Shakti Department at Thachi.Jai Ram Thakur said that the construction of Rs. 36.21 crore drinking water schemes for Balichowki and Bahu village would be completed soon, which would benefit the people of Panjai, Kau, Murah, Guran, Lagdayana, Dev Dhar, Mani and Balichowki.

Chief Minister said that Rs. 50.85 crore 8 drinking water projects under Jal Jeevan Mission, various developmental works under scheduled caste sub-plan worth Rs. 2.78 crore and flood control works worth Rs. 5.30 crore were in progress under Jal Shakti department Balichowki Mandal.

Jai Ram Thakur said that Seraj Valley has immense potential for tourism and the expansion of the roads in the area would give a boost to the tourism industry. In view of this, the infrastructure was being developed in the area by the state government, he added.

Chief Minister announced science block in Government Senior Secondary School, Panjai and 108 ambulance at Panjai. He announced construction of additional building in Government Senior Secondary School, Panjai and upgradation of Government High School, Muhlu Khamrada to Senior Secondary School.

He also announced opening of health sub centre at Chaihri Batwara. He said that facility of Mobile Clinic has also been provided in the Seraj area.Pradhan Gram Panchayat Panjai Krishna Devi welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries and thanked the Chief Minister for various developmental works in the area.

Former MLA Delhi Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri, Chief Conservator of Forests Anil Joshi, senior officers of various departments and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions were also present on the occasion.
