Shimla : While addressing the State Working Committee Meeting of Himachal Pradesh Bhartiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at Shimla today, Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur urged the BJYM workers to ensure effective use of modern technology and social media to disseminate the policies and programmes of the State Government to the persons living at the lowest ebb.Chief Minister lauded the efforts and services rendered by the members of the BJYM during the Covid-19 pandemic. He said that every worker of the Yuva Morch was fortunate that the country was today led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Party was being led by son of the soil Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda as National President. He said that he himself has served as the BJYM as its State President. He said that the youths were the future of the Nation, therefore, it was the responsibility of the youth to work with commitment and dedication towards making the India a strong and vibrant Nation.Shri Jai Ram Thakur said that the Nation today has realized that there was no substitute of BJP and charismatic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that the whole State was ashamed of the misconduct of the Congress leaders with the Governor on the first day of the Budget session of the State Assembly. He said that Congress today was a leaderless party where each one was fighting to prove his leadership. He said that on the other hand, the BJP in the State was united and ready to ensure Mission Repeat in the next assembly elections of the State.Chief Minister said that the organization setup of the State has emerged as the role model for the other states of the country.
He said that even during the pandemic, the BJP in the State ensured that the organizational activities go uninterrupted for which effective use of social media was ensued to reach out to every section of the society. He said that the State Government also ensured uninterrupted pace of development during this pandemic and he had virtually performed foundation stones and inaugurations of developmental projects worth Rs. 3500 crore. Shri Jai Ram Thakur said that the youth should also effectively reach out to the beneficiaries of the various welfare schemes initiated by the Central and State Governments. He said that all the individual beneficiaries must be contacted, besides coming forward to help the poor and the needy. He said that the workers must identify the State and Central welfare schemes, which could be taken before the people, particularly the beneficiaries of these schemes. He said that the State Government was celebrating the fifty years of Statehood in a befitting manner. He said that the event would be dedicated to the people of the State, who have contributed towards the development of the State. He urged the Yuva Morch workers to make their contributions to make this event a grand success. Chief Minister said that the motto of the BJP ‘Gram Sabha se Vidhan Sabha’ would be possible only due to the hard work and dedication of the Yuva Morcha. Morning session of this two-day meeting was addressed by the Co-incharge of State BJP Sanjay Tandon. President State BJYM Amit Thakur while welcoming the Chief Minister said that the State BJYM has contributed over rupees one crore towards the CM Covid-19 Fund and also provided lakhs of face masks and hand sanitizers to the needy. He said that 542 workers of BJYM had been elected to the PRIs in the recently concluded elections. He said that BJP would again form Government in the State under the able leadership of Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur in the 2022 Assembly elections.General Secretary BJYM Jyoti Kapoor presented vote of thanks.Political Advisor to the Chief Minister and General Secretary State BJP Trilok Jamwal, Shimla district BJP Ravi Mehta and other office bearers were present on the occasion.
