Contribute towards welfare of Armed forces fund : Bandaru Dattatreya

Shimla : On the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, Governor Bandaru Dattatraya was pinned up Armed Forces Flag by the officials of State Sainik Welfare Department at Raj Bhavan, today. The Governor gave donation to assist the dependents of the martyred soldiers on the occasion.He appealed to the people of the state to contribute to promote solidarity with sense of belonging to those who have sacrificed for our safety and security without any demand in return. He added that the Flag Day underlined our obligation to the Armed Forces personnel, ex-servicemen and their dependents and our contribution on the occasion was a token of affection and gratitude towards them. He said that our contributions would value their sacrifice and would be an appreciation of their deeds in war and peace time.Lt. Colonel Piar Singh Attri and Deputy Director State Sainik Welfare were also present among others on the occasion.
