Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar pays obeisance at Valmiki Temple on Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti

Shimla : Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti paid obeisance at Maharshi Valmiki Temple in Sanjauli (Shimla) today.On this occasion, he said that the great epic written by Maharishi about Lord Rama was incomparable.

He said that Maharshi Valmiki did not belong to one society but to the whole world. His teachings are more relevant today and to keep the society in harmony there is a need to follow the path shown by him.

He also honoured various social workers on the occasion.Earlier, the President of Valmiki Sabha Narayan Singh welcomed the Governor.MLA Kusumpti Anirudh Singh and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
