Mumbai : Taarak Mehta is one of the most popular characters in the Indian entertainment space. For the past 14 years and more, he has been entertaining and talking to the audience through “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”, a show created and authored by Asit Kumarr Modi.
It is now time to welcome Sacchin Shrof as the new Taarak Mehta in the show. Welcoming him, Asit Kumarr Modi said, “I warmly welcome Sacchin to our Gokuldhaam family. When I started the shoot then it became very comfortable to get under the skin of Taarak Mehta and play him.” Upon being asked about Shailesh Lodha’s exit, Mr. Modi commented, “We have had a long and wonderful association with Shailesh Lodha which will always be cherished. I wish him the best for all his future endeavours.”
If the show’s track record is anything to go by, actor Sacchin Shrof will slot right into the cast bringing his dynamism and candour to the already exuberant character of Taarak Mehta. His debut episode is set to go live tonight on Sony SAB and we could not be more excited to watch him with the rest of the starcast.
