Mohali : With the aim to highlight the importance of mental and physical well-being and to improve happiness, International Day of Happiness was celebrated by students & faculty members of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.
Aryans students including Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Education, Agriculture etc. participated in various activities. A recreational tour was also organized on the occasion.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group highlighted that Aryans Group of Colleges feels privileged for being recognized & awarded at national level as happiest institutions in India during the awards institutionalized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), hurtfulness Education Trust (HET) and Your One Life (YOL) in Hyderabad.
He further mentioned the significance of happiness as a universal goal and a fundamental human right. It highlights the importance of mental and physical well-being and encourages individuals to take steps to improve their happiness, added Kataria.
It is to be mentioned that The International Day of Happiness is celebrated throughout the world on 20 March. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 28 June 2012. The International Day of Happiness aims to make people around the world realize the importance of happiness within their live.
