Spectacular conclusion of CGC Landran’s techno cultural fest Parivartan 2022

Landran : ‘Parivartan’ the annual, national level techno cultural festival of Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran concluded on a spectacular note. Day 2 of the fest revolving around the theme Innovate Create Celebrate, witnessed dazzling performances and outstanding display of tech innovations by CGC students ranging from anti honking contraption to drones among others.

The career fair organised as a part of Parivartan saw participation from 3,000 plus students from 42 schools across the Northern region.Mr. Kultar Singh Sandhwan Hon’ble Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Mr Sumandeep Singh Walia, Additional Advocate General Punjab was the Guest of Honour.

They were accompanied by dignitaries including Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC Landran. Addressing the audience, the Hon’ble speaker commended the students and faculty of CGC Landran for organising the unique event.

Appreciating the various competitions organised under Parivartan Mr Sandhwan highlighted the importance of such fests in encouraging an promoting young talent. He urged young people to never give up in face of adversity and to love their family in order to lead a fulfilling yet successful life.

He also urged them to protect the diversity of the country which, he said is India’s true strength.The second day of the techno cultural extravaganza showcased cultural diversity as the students from different colleges and schools performed folk dances of various states of India

including Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Pahaari Naati- the traditional folk dance of Himachal Pradesh, Bhangra Folk dance from Jammu and Kashmir and Malwai Giddha from Punjab, in addition to Dances and singing performances in Western song/dance categories.

Popular singer Jordan Sandhu enthralled the audience with his live performance. The winners of competitions in all categories were felicitated with certificates, trophies and cash prizes. 150-plus employees of CGC were also honoured for their services and outstanding dedication shown to the institution by the Chief Guest.

The two-day event saw the participation of more than 20,000 students. The fest featured various competitions in technical, non-technical and cultural categories.
